Privacy notice

This notice explains how Yavets Advisory Group ("we") handles personal data collected through this site. It is written to meet the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable US state privacy laws.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Yavets Advisory Group, managed by Eyal Yavets, Israel. You can reach us at yalconsulting1@gmail.com or through the contact form on the home page.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send through the contact form: name, company, role, email address, area of interest and your message. If you subscribe to updates, we receive your email address, your name if you choose to give it, and a record of your consent with its date and time. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and fonts are hosted on this site, so no third party is contacted when you browse it.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

We use your details only to reply to your inquiry and to discuss a possible engagement. Under the GDPR, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering inquiries and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

If you subscribe, we use your email address only to send new articles and occasional updates, based on your explicit consent. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing or by writing to us. We keep subscriber details until you unsubscribe. If we use an email delivery service to send the newsletter, it will process your email address only for that purpose.

Who receives it

Form submissions are processed by our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., in the United States. If you book an intro call, Cal.com processes your booking under its own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising, and we do not add you to mailing lists without your explicit consent.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in Israel, which the European Commission recognizes as providing adequate protection, and in the United States by our service providers, under their standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months of the last contact. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Details related to an engagement are kept for the duration of the engagement and for as long as the law requires afterwards, for example for tax and accounting purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal data, or to receive a copy of it. California residents may also request information about the categories of data collected; we do not sell or share personal data. To make a request, email yalconsulting1@gmail.com or use the contact form. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, or in Israel to the Privacy Protection Authority.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to submissions is limited to Yavets Advisory Group.

Children

This site is intended for business professionals and is not directed at children.

Pilot access requests

If you request access to a pilot tool, we use the details you provide (name, company, role, email and message) only to respond to your request and manage pilot access. We do not ask you to enter, and you should not enter, sensitive information into the tools.

Changes

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version.
