FAQ

Questions we are often asked

How do you work with clients abroad?

Most of the work happens over video calls and shared documents, and intro calls are available Sunday to Thursday, 16:00–19:00 Israel time (afternoon in Europe, morning on the US East Coast); other times can be arranged. For stages that need to be on site, such as factory visits, site selection or supplier audits, we travel.

How does an engagement start?

With a 30-minute intro call. If there is a fit, most engagements begin with the fixed-scope Diagnose phase of the Zero-to-One Program, which ends with a 90-day plan.

How long does the move from R&D to production take?

It depends on the product, the technology maturity and the market. Typically, the full move takes between six months and a year, across four phases: Diagnose (2–3 weeks), Define (1–2 months), Build (3–6 months) and Ready (1–2 months). The Diagnose gives you a realistic timeline for your product.

When does a company need a COO?

Usually when the product is ready to scale and the founders spend more time on production, suppliers and operations than on customers, technology and capital. A fractional COO is often the right first step: senior leadership for a defined period and scope, before a full-time hire.

What does a Diagnose deliver?

A clear readiness assessment, a map of the biggest risks and gaps, a target product cost, and a 90-day plan with go / no-go decisions, for a fixed scope and a fixed price.

Do you work as a fractional or interim COO?

Yes. For companies that need senior operations leadership without a full-time hire, Eyal can serve as a fractional or interim COO (COO as a Service) for a defined period and scope, from the move to mass production to setting up a new site or preparing for a funding round.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. A non-disclosure agreement is signed before any substantive discussion. You can download our standard mutual NDA as a PDF or a Word file, sign it and send it to us, or propose your own.

Where do you work?

With companies in Israel, Europe, North America and Asia, remotely and on site.

In which languages?

English and Hebrew.

Do you work with early-stage startups?

Yes, from proof of concept onward, typically from Seed to Series A, as well as with innovation units in large companies.

How are fees structured?

A fixed price for the Diagnose phase, a monthly retainer for ongoing support, or fees tied to technical and operational milestones. Fees are never contingent on a financing or transaction.

Do you take success fees on fundraising?

No. We prepare companies for investors; we do not act as brokers or placement agents.

Can an investor engage you for a portfolio company?

Yes. The investor can sponsor the engagement, with the company as the client.
